Great prizes will be given to the individuals and teams who raise the most in pledges. There will also be prizes to participants with the fastest times. Past prizes have included helicopter rides, hotel stays in Whistler, luxury dining experiences, etc.
Tax receipts are issued for pledges of $30 or more.
Celebrate.
This year we are once again excited to partner with British Pacific Properties for a post-ride celebration at the awe-inspiring Cypress Pop-Up Village. This public gathering space brings the convenience of a park with a food vendor, bike wash and repair, an amazing view as well as local art.
After reaching the finish line at the Nordic area, enjoy a coffee and warm up before heading down* to the Cypress Pop-Up Village for a free pancake and sausage breakfast. Invite your family and friends for the prize announcements, complimentary food and beverages and to celebrate your accomplishment with you and fellow riders.
*A complimentary shuttle from the Nordic Area finish line to the Pop-Up Village will be available. When registering, please let us know if you think you will use these services.

Cypress Village and Eagleridge Area Development Plan
We are delighted to share that the Cypress Village and Eagleridge Area Development Plan received Final Adoption by West Vancouver Council November 25th, 2024.
Through this decision, Council has officially approved and adopted the Plan and associated bylaws, allowing for the preservation of 262 acres of forested land in Eagleridge as a dedicated municipal park. It also sets the stage for Cypress Village – a new, compact, sustainable mixed-use neighbourhood, featuring diverse housing options, retail spaces, public plazas, trails, childcare spaces, community centre, fire hall, developer-funded transit, the protection of an additional 100 acres of green space and land reserved for a future school.
“For 7 years now I have participated as a mountain biker in the Rotary Ride for Rescue. I am passionate about supporting local organizations like the North Shore Rescue. I can’t think of a better way to donate to North Shore Rescue who put in countless and selfless hours rescuing people in trouble in the mountains.”
